Founded by Placido Sisi in 1972, Vetroplast originated as a specialist processor of articles in fibreglass. In the late ‘70s the company broadened its range to embrace the environmental sector and began to produce waste bins.

In the mid ‘90s, as the market evolved and demand for steel waste bins grew, Vetroplast responded to these new needs by transforming to concentrate entirely on metalworking.

In 2023 Vetroplast began a new phase in its history by joining the OMAS S.p.A. group based in Numana, while maintaining continuity of management as the founder’s daughter and grandson have remained with the organisation and carry forward his vision and commitment.
