History
Founded in 1972, Vetroplast began as a company that specialised in processing fibreglass components. The material inspired its name and shaped its industrial roots.
From the late 1970s, the company entered the environmental sector by making waste collection containers. It then began to specialise in urban hygiene systems.
In the 1990s, Vetroplast responded to market changes and rising demand for steel solutions. It transformed its operations and converted its facilities for metalworking. It also brought together specialised expertise in steel processing.
Today, Vetroplast is part of the OMAS S.p.A. Group. It is a well-structured industrial organisation. It supports the company’s growth in research and development. It also drives technological innovation and new product launches. At the same time, it supports expansion in UK and global markets.
With over fifty years of experience, Vetroplast sets the benchmark for metal waste collection system design and manufacture. Its approach focuses on build quality, durability, and technological innovation.
